The IT Depot Technician is responsible for assisting with inventory management for Buchanan Technologies, as well the imaging, boxing, and shipment of IT equipment. This position will be based in our Grapevine, TX headquarters.

Essential Functions and Duties

• PC imaging
• Prep Windows Computers for end-users including some Active Directory
• Ship Equipment (boxing, packing materials, lifting, etc.)
• Inventory Management, this includes updates to the ticketing system with the status of machines
• Collaborate with internal matrixed teams to drive IT initiatives
• Provide daily deliverables and ad-hoc analytics as needed

• Basic computer repair: replace laptop screens, keyboards, hard drives, and batteries
• Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of commitments
• Other duties/projects as assigned

Additional Qualifications

• Technical Aptitude Required, previous experience with Windows, Active Directory
• Understanding of traditional IT business practices

• High school graduate or equivalent
