THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The IT Engineer - Cloud Devops will be responsible designing, implementing, and maintaining tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software. They will work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire software development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error-free.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE GOALS BY:

• Development Methodology: Ensuring that appropriate methods and tools for the planning, delivery, automation, management and observability of systems are adopted and used effectively throughout the organization. Aligns direction and leads in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies, and tools, to ensuring consistency across all user groups.
• Systems Design: Assesses appropriate design standards, methods and tools in order to design complex systems. and ensure they are applied effectively. Reviews system designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and system integrations. They will evaluate impact of major design options as well as assess and manage associated risks. Ensures that the system design balances function, service quality, fiscal responsibility and security.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploying automation tools and frameworks to streamline continuous integration, delivery, deployment and cloud management processes.
• Enhancing observability platforms to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards for CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IAC), and cloud observability.
• Expertise in managing GCP and Azure infrastructure and services to deliver user-friendly, automated solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or applicable work experience.
• 3+ years Cloud Devops with focus on Azure and GCP
• 3+ years delivering on cloud platform automation solutions
• Experience with operation automation tools, e.g. Argo/Airflow/other
• Experience with Kubernetes and other container tools
• Extensive knowledge with CI/CD methodology
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management in both formal and informal situations.
• GCP and Azure certification preferred
• Windows server and Linux server
• Working knowledge of Ansible and Terraform
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks, while demonstrating poise in a high-pressure environment.
• Extremely self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Minimal travel required (training/conferences)
