Job Title: IT Infrastructure Network Deployment Engineer (Hybrid - Santa Clara, CA)

Experience 10-12 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technology Specialist with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in Azure Networking Services, Cloud Load Balancing, AWS, Networking Load Balancing, Switching and Routing - Arista Switching and Routing Cisco Wireless and WAN Optimizers. This role will involve managing and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and completing Jira projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Planning and overseeing the deployment of network technologies to meet business requirements and support growth initiatives.
  • Routing switching skills and ability to bring up DCs, Labs, and offices.
  • Ensuring 100% monitoring of all Configuration Items (CIs) deployed, configured, or managed.
  • Ensure all deployments meet redundancy and ensure failover testing is done and documented.
  • Conducting regular reviews with Team Leads (TLs) and Architects in Enterprise Networking for all projects.
  • Detailed documentation delivered for each deployment with SOPs and debugging.
  • Providing support for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities as needed.
  • Deployment improvements through identification of opportunities to automate.
  • Contributing to the design of network projects.

Qualifications
  • Possess a deep understanding of Azure Networking Services and their implementation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Cloud Load Balancing techniques and tools.
  • Have extensive experience with AWS Networking and cloud-based solutions.
  • Show proficiency in configuring and managing Load Balancing systems.
  • Be skilled in Switching and Routing for both Arista and Cisco networks.
  • Have experience in deploying and maintaining wireless networks.
  • Be knowledgeable in WAN Optimizers and their impact on network performance.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining network security and best practices.

Certifications Required

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is $80,000-$107,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
