Daikin Applied is now hiring for an IT Infrastructure Operations Intern in Plymouth, MN!

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Operations Intern to join our dynamic IT team. Location : Plymouth, MN in office 2-3 days per week

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2025

What you will do:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network, computer systems, systems security, hardware, database, and software in hyperscale cloud and on-premises environment
• Provide technical assistance, and manage daily tasks on infrastructure hardware and software-related issues
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Assist in making system assessments, maintenance, and building documentation.
• Follow established procedures and processes for infrastructure management
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems
• Engage and work with managed Service provider to accomplish tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

• Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Exposure to computer systems, software, network, and system security
• Exposure to hardware and software installation
• Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicable certification in Hyperscale Cloud infrastructure (example; Azure Administrator)
• Network certification - Associate or higher (example; Cisco Certified Network Associate; CCNA)
