Job Description: Responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities for the company. You will help determine the IT needs of the organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements. The scope of an IT manager's responsibilities varies. In some cases, the focus is solely on computer networks. In other cases, the focus can be on managing telecommunications systems and other electronic support systems related to the company operations.

Required Skills:
  • Experience managing Data Center Infrastructure and Network teams.
  • Experience leading large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services

  • Experience in defining IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Experience in establishing performance KPIs/Metrics

  • Experience with network administration (Cisco certification is a plus)
  • Experience manging on-premises servers, storage area neworks (SAN) and network attached storage devices
  • Disaster Recovery implementation, management, and testing experience.

  • Experience with ITIL framework and leveraging ITIL best practices

Responsibilities:
  • Align with IT and business partners in definition, architecture and processes to define infrastructure strategy to deliver the highest standards of internal customer service
  • Assess and purchase new and replacement hardware
  • Managing the IT team through continuous communication, performance reviews and mentoring with a commitment to Operational Excellence
  • Oversee and manage team projects from conception to completion
  • Ensure business continuity of of infrastructure capabilities and delivery to the highest standards of internal customer service
  • Define policies and procedures for data back up and recovery and monitoring these processes to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Ensure maintenance of data center performed including general maintenance such as hardware/software upgrades
  • Ensure security by taking action to protect data center security and compliance
  • Manage computer and server operations, applications and services
  • Develop, maintain and test business continuity plans to address current and future business needs
  • Establish strong monitoring capabilities and develop key metrics to align with business goals
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with all business audits and quality, environment and Information Security policies
Experience:
  • 5-10 years of related experience in IT Operations including Data Center and Network
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in IT management
Education:
  • A 4 year college diploma, Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
