Looking for a Program Manager who has prior experience in Market Risk or Global Markets middle/back office technology. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on numerous diverse responsibilities and will necessitate close partnership with senior business and technology managers.

Job Title: IT Program Manager

Contract: 12 Months

Location: Jersey City, NJ

This individual will:

• Have direct delivery responsibility for their projects (i.e. end to end ownership of the program)
• Have oversight of all projects within the program and be responsible for recognizing when individual projects may be off track
• Identify risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and proactively manage/reporting RAIDs.
• Review and/or publish the weekly status report for the program
• Consistently meet with project managers to understand progress and issues across projects and provide support as necessary
• Be responsible for weekly status reporting and preparing materials to present to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Computer Engineering/Financial Degree
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with VaR, Risk Analytics would be a definite advantage
• Exposure to financial / product control functions within a bank.
• Exposure to Program Project Risk Tool (PPRT)
