About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator for a client based in San Diego. The Project Coordinator will manage aspects of an SAP implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to stakeholders' satisfaction. Working closely with project managers, business analysts, team members, and stakeholders, the coordinator will ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and deadlines.

Compensation: $40-50/hour W2 including health/dental/vision benefits, 401k with match, holidays, & sick days
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Location: San Diego. 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the coordination of project activities, including resource allocation, task assignment, and scheduling.
  • Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, and work with the project manager to mitigate them.
  • Manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project artifacts.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports, presentations, and other project-related materials.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide support to the project manager as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as project management, business administration, or information technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT project coordination or project management.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience planning and managing complex projects, budgets, and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project and JIRA, and experience using collaboration and communication tools, such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience working with Agile concepts and methodology is desirable.
