Working Conditions
  • This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.

  • 2+ years of experience working with IT Service Management/Help Desk software environment for Incident and Request Management such as CA Service Desk, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with CA Service Desk Knowledge Base applications
  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex technical concepts to business and technical partners, end users, peers, and vendors
  • Experience working with second and third-level technical support staff and management on departmental IT teams, task forces and projects
  • Extensive knowledge and experience diagnosing and resolving the most complex PC and IT related incidents involving hardware, software, and network connectivity as reported to the IT Service Desk
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with a proven ability to adopt and deliver new technologies with demonstrated results leading and motivating staff through changes
