Title: Business Analyst - IT Strategy
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6 month contract
Compensation: $26-26.40/hr
Work Requirement: US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to work in the U.S.

Scope of Work:
The business analyst is responsible for leading business requirements definition to successful completion, including the discovery, analysis and documentation of business requirements, process flows, use cases, test and training plans. Works closely with product, relationship management, quality assurance, project management, and technology teams. The Business Analyst is responsible for conducting customer and market needs analysis, developing detail product and internet systems requirements and managing all stages of business requirements from initial research to user acceptance testing. The position will be the liaison between client subject matter experts and the development team. The position will also identify and assist in the development of additional business opportunities within current clients, applying delivery methodology standards in the creation of solutions, understanding client tactical plans and goals and expressing business requirements in terms of the function to be performed by the solution. Other responsibilities include overseeing business to system knowledge management, and assisting in overall system design from user interface through backend processes. This is a team-based position that requires strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting business line validation for Guardian and Actimize releases in both the testing environment and production
• Working cooperatively as a subject matter expert with Business Line technology partners
• Attending daily stand-up/refinement working sessions
• Preparing communications and training details for Guardian and Actimize releases
• Providing product support to investigations teams for questions and seeking feedback from the end users
• Supporting any special projects or critical work

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically, 3+ years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with Agile Methodologies and teams. (this is an Agile team)
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, along with general proficiency in adapting to new software applications
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of Actimize case management system
• Knowledge of retail banking, lending, and bank operations processes
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification preferred
