LaSalle Network is currently partnering with our client, a reputable organization that serves the blind, visually impaired, disabled and Veteran communities, that is looking for a new IT Support Specialist to join their team long term.

IT Support Specialist Responsibilities:

• Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups and configuring systems and applications
• Provides tech support on web site, internet, intranet technologies and tools
• Evaluates documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems
• Develops help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users
• Maintains production and development of web site, internet and intranet environments
• Collaborate between departments and provide technical assistance pertaining to agency's web site including web design and applications
• User administration in Office 365 tenant and enablement of apps (MFA, SSO, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive)
• Assisting the Systems Administrator with the configuration and set-up of all new server systems either internally or externally
• Basic operational support for internal employee computer systems mostly Windows XP/VISTA/Windows 7

IT Support Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information sciences or related field required
• Experience in configuring and administering Server 2012 and above
• Good working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components
• Proven and relevant working experience in a busy, client focused Organization
• Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software
