Summary:

The IT Technologist II maintains information technology equipment and resources; configures, troubleshoots, modifies and repairs equipment; participates in problem resolution and proactive problem solving. Supports Motorola radio system and iOS mobile devices. Performs IT Administrator I's duties when necessary (backup).

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Administration of computer systems, peripherals, and network acce

• Knowledge of Windows 10-11, Office 2016-2021 software suite, Adobe software suite, troubleshooting other software, some basic printer repair knowledge, and PC repair/configuration

• Technical support to end-users.

• Software installation, software updates, backup

• Managing/Inventorying Departmental IT equipment

• Mobile device support for Motorola radios and iOS device

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skilled with managing PCs on a number of different hardware/software platforms.

• Ability to work in network administration, telecommunications, mobile device OS and system security.

• Knowledgeable with iOS/Android devices.

Qualifications:

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Technical training in Computer Technology

• 3-5 years' experience with Windows PCs, iOS phones/tablets, and networking experience in an enterprise system
