IT Technician

Our client in the Health and Human Services industry is seeking a Network Site Coordinator to join their team. As a IT Technician, you will be part of the IT department. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience and possess the mandatory qualifications necessary to excel in this role.

Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Albany, New York (Hybrid)
Duration: 30-month contract with potential for extension
Pay Range: $52-$55 /hr.
Note: Hybrid work model with currently 50% onsite and flexible scheduling

What's the Job?

• Provide technical assistance and assessment of Consultation process
• Work on equipment installation, relocation, and removal, including VOIP phones, WAPS, and data communications equipment
• Participate in the planning and execution of all phases of project including request analysis, site surveys, site preparation, cable troubleshooting and installation, asset management, inventory control, and network assistance
• Complete physical site assessments and conduct technical site surveys
• Travel to complete physical site assessments

What's Needed?

• 5-8 years of experience providing guidance to large teams and/or extensive industry experience
• 5 years of experience installing/troubleshooting PCs and printers
• 3 years of experience installing/troubleshooting servers
• 1 year of experience installing/troubleshooting VOIP phones
• 5 years of experience installing/troubleshooting data communications equipment
• 3 years of experience conducting inventory control
• 3 years of experience in desktop support
