Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI. is seeking a IT Testing Analyst to join our team!

The IT Testing Analyst (ITA) deploys testing in the areas of software and technology services. Collaborating closely with the IT (Information Technology), Revenue Cycle departments, and IT Project Management Office. This role develops and implements procedures, processes, protocols, and policies for application testing. Responsible for improving stability of service delivery through testing automation, scalability testing, software test metrics, test suite setup, and platforms testing configuration. The role is responsible for generating, analyzing, and delivering metrics and reports to IT leadership for IT projects and initiatives. Also produces timely and ad hoc testing reports, including internal analysis against testing team practices and procedures. This position administers testing Quality Assurance procedures that measure performance across teams, projects, and initiatives. Liaises with vendors, third-party entities, and external contacts ensuring successful testing of software. Participates in continuous improvement programs and initiatives.

HOURS: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of general principles of information systems and computer usage normally acquired through completion of an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Business, Information Technology, Informatics, or related field.
  • Preferred experience: 5+ years professional experience in professional/healthcare environments working with systems or software.
  • Experience in the software testing process; particularly integrated testing for Epic is required.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated success with testing tools and requirements, including unit, integration, acceptance, system, performance, security, usability, and compatibility testing.
  • Experience participating in a cross-functional testing role, particularly with Revenue Cycle.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite knowledge including proficiency with Excel workbooks, formulas, tables, formatting, graphs, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, modern testing practices, and project management methodologies
  • Understanding of general principles of information systems and computer usage.
  • Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life cycle (SDLC): project definition, user requirements definition, system requirements definition, analysis and design, system build, implementation and training, sustainment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, quick thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with enterprise applications and ability to follow complex business logic required within EHRs (Epic), ERPs (Infor Cloudsuite), ITSMs (ServiceNow), testing suites, testing tools and SaaS platforms with workflows.
  • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders through formal presentations as well as oral and written formats.
  • Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and meet established deadlines.
  • Tolerance for working in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage several different issues at a time.
  • Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
