POSITION TITLE: Instructional Coach

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum B.S. Degree with certification in content area.
  • Meets requirements set forth by federal regulations.

REPORTS TO:
  • Superintendent or Superintendent's designee

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • See job description of TEACHER.
  • Participate in SDE and local training sessions specific to the assigned coaching area.
  • Identify students at-risk with specific to assigned coaching areas.
  • Work with struggling and at-risk students.
  • Monitor and analyze data associated with the assigned coaching area.
  • Organize and lead intervention efforts within the assigned coaching area.
  • Perform any other position related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Provide on-going and job-embedded professional development to assigned teachers.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • Salary and work year to be in accordance with the current applicable salary schedule .

EVALUATION:
  • Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy of Professional Personnel.
