Experis/Manpower Group has partnered with a leading financial organization in Charlotte, NC for a contract Sr. Software Developer to assist their team. It will be a Hybrid role.

Title: Sr. Software Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12-18+ months

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and test software solutions for the ECR RCF team.
• Collaborate with teams and business partners to deliver application solutions.
• Develop unit, integration, regression, and performance test scripts/suites.
• Follow Agile processes (work refinement, estimation, retrospectives).
• Interface with users and team members to understand requirements and engineer solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and lead the team through delivery processes.
• Perform performance tuning and database refactoring.
• Participate in POCs to evaluate tools and technologies.

Tasks:

• Develop and support the Enterprise Credit Risk ETL platform.
• Write and maintain various test scripts and suites.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
• Gather and analyze requirements, engineer solutions.
• Optimize database queries and perform performance tuning.
• Maintain software documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java application programming experience.
• 3+ years of technology architecture experience.
• Strong database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Exadata).
• Experience in ETL processes and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Java, Hadoop/Big Data, JavaScript frameworks (Angular 5, React, NodeJS).
• Proven project delivery in an Agile environment.
• Excellent software design, development, testing, and documentation skills.
• Strong organizational and team collaboration skills.
• Effective communication and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
