Responsible for designing and developingautomation framework.
• Understanding the flow of code andhow it interacts with different components.
• Understanding project documents andproduct objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Setting up, maintaining, andperforming test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms andbuilding test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Investigating customer problemsreferred by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managingbug reports.
• Noting all testing actions that areperformed in daily and weekly reports.
• Analyzing and disintegratingsoftware systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overalldesign.
• Researching test tools, methodologies,and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
• Ensuring extensive unit test codecoverage by developing regression scripts.
• Managing the final quality onproduction release.
• Manage the defect log and ensureproduction issues are resolved, including validation of the fix.
• Contribute to the analysis of productfeatures, and the product, to ensure it behaves as intended.
• Ensure all non-functionalrequirements (performance, scalability, security, usability, etc.) aremet.
• Participate in developing and documentingUser Stories, including creating sub-tasks, estimating time to developautomated test cases for features, perform functionality , performance andregression testing on whole project to ensure stability of the project in everyrelease.
