Role: Java Technical Lead (Remote)

This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant's EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.

Job Description: While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Roles and Responsibilities:
• 14+ Years of overall IT experience with minimum 5+ years of prior hands-on development experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Springboot
• Should be technically strong in leveraging Spring features, scripting for MS SQL Server/Oracle, using JDBC, WebLogic
• Hands on expertise on Azure Integration Services as secondary skill: Azure Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management.
• Should have good exposure to SDLC life cycle and familiar with Agile and SCRUM processes.
• Ability to communicate and co-ordinate with customers independently for requirement gathering and day to day project execution.
• Good Verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure and hands on expertise with creation and usage of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / Jenkins.
• Perform hands on coding using core Java.
• Design, develop and test APIs using Java Springboot.
• Independently design, code, test Java applications.
• Provision Azure Integration Services.
• Create Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Create Detailed designs for integrations.
• Perform code reviews.
• Create deployment documentation.
• Perform/co-ordinate for deployments.
• Lead team of 4-5 people.
• Co-ordinate with offshore team and provide overlap as per project needs.
• Liaison with Cognizant & client architects, SMEs, Product
• Owner, Scrum Master as part of scrum team & own day-day delivery responsibilities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $98,000 to $116,300 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
