About Cognizant's Communications Media and Technology Practice:

At Cognizant CMT - a cross functional team comprised of Delivery Leads, Product Managers, Architects, embedded developers, manual testers, performance testers and automation testers, builds higher quality cutting edge software solutions for clients in cable industry across the globe. Across our US offices or within client development sites, our Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant CMT group, provides developers and testers consistent opportunities to drive excellence in technology while growing their exposure to fast paced and ever-changing cable industry landscape.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Experience with complete Software Development Life Cycle SDLC including requirements gathering analysis design.

• Development, coding, review and testing of applications.

• Strong experience in developing applications using JAVA/J2EE technologies like Java JDBC Servlets JSP Spring Spring Boot Restful Services and Micro Services.

• Proficient in developing applications using SQL and NO SQL databases.

• Good analytical design and problem-solving skills.

• Sound knowledge in CI CD Automation of build deployment.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong expertise in Oracle, MySQL, SOAP, Core Java, GIT, REST Web Services, Spring MVC, Microservices, Ansible, Azure DevOps, AWS, GITHUB, Jenkins, and SQL Server.

• Demonstrate experience in the Telecom domain, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.

• Exhibit proficiency in additional technologies such as Struts, JBoss, Tomcat, Unix, Linux, Oracle, Maven, Hibernate, Web Logic Application Server, Shell scripting, Spring Core, Java Persistence API, Spring Batch, Spring Security.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 31 st , 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000.00 to $105,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
