The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an expert and innovative Java Technical Support Lead to serve our diverse base of global clients. The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our services and technologies.

Role: Java Technical Support Lead

Location: Duluth, GA

Experience: 10+ years

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for establishing, sustaining processes and practices in production support environment.
• Analyze and craft major components of Java application deployment and implementations.
• Deploy and maintain functional secure and high-quality Java applications involving multi-functional teams.
• Perform application support & maintenance as technical Support.
• Handle Incident/Problem/Change management and Service Request

Skills:

• Experience working in Production support role with Java and Springboot technologies.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in Java/Springboot/microservices (must have).
• Clear understanding of Incident/Problem/Change management and Service Request.
• Prior production support experience (with SLA/KPI commitments) is a must.
• Should be able to independently lead issue analysis and triage.
• Prior experience of working in onsite/offshore engagement.

Preferred:

• Experience in Retail Domain

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
