Job Title: Java/API Engineer

Duration: Contract through EOY, potential to move to other projects after

Location: Hybrid to Minneapolis, Dallas, or Atlanta (in order of preference) if they absolutely cant find anyone local they would consider remote as a last resort

IV: 1.5 hour interview - will involved a coding exercise and culture/personality questions

Project:

• This team supports digital banking (online web and mobile banking applications - consumer facing) for business and consumers. Primarily works on credit card servicing
• All of the work will be related to modernization efforts that were paused due to the Union Bank merger - need to have all work complete by EOY, Q1 at the latest
• Modernizing from .NET and legacy Java to a modern Java & GraphQL base

Day to Day:

• Hands on development in support of the modernization
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies
• Building pipelines & deploying code to the new environments

Must Haves:

• Senior level - looking for 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Should have experience working on a customer-facing digital platform - does not need to be banking related, could be retail, etc.
• Java, Spring Boot
• Jenkins, Kubernetes - should be able to build pipelines and deploy code
• Soft skills - need to have good communication, exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Nice to Have:

• Cloud - open to Azure, AWS, or GCP
