Java/AWS Developer (Onsite)
Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Java/AWS Developer

Job Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Involve in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly multifaceted Agile environment
• Craft and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka)
• Fix, debug and upgrade software
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Contributes to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, Oracle, Kafka
• Experienced with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3,RDS, terraform). AWS Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred.
• Good to have experience in any of the rules engine (Ex. Drools)
• Good to have experience in JPMC on-premises cloud (Gaia)
• Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins
• Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.
• Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving
• Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 - $146,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
