Java/Python Back End Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Java/Python Engineer to join a new team within the Financial Industry. This resource would be joining a team of AI/ML Engineers, Lead and Director and would be working to expand AI/ML for their division, specifically on applications to audit more efficiently and automate their bandwidth. Their big picture goal is to get all applications to a higher level AI/ML and consult with the different teams to gather requirements and requests. This resource would be helping to build out new designs, enhancements and modifications to new and existing applications with Java, Python, SQL, No SQL and CI/CD Pipelines. Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelors or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field

* 3-5 Years of Experience Back End Development Experience in Python and Java with ability to build apps and services quickly and efficiently

* Experience experience on writing complex SQL(Hive/PySpark-dataframes) and NoSQL queries and optimizing data pipelines

* Experience in building applications and services in Cloud

* Experience with GitHub and leveraging CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience in Big Data ecosystem including Map-Reduce, Hive, Spark (core, SQL and pyspark) and UNIX shell scripting

* Ability to build and maintain application pipelines that support the execution of AI/ML models and consumption of the model output and any experience in integrating AI/ML into existing applications in batch and realtime(services/APIs)

* Understanding of and interest in AI/ML models and typical use cases
