A large data center operations client of Insight Global is looking to add a journeyman electrician to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a data center environment including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and electrical distribution systems. They will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime. They must also be able to identify and report any potential safety hazards or code violations to management.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid journeyman electrician license or 250 hours remaining to obtain license

5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.

Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

OSHA 10 Certification

MEO (Material Equipment Operator)

NFPA-70E
