As a Operations Electrician working with the LotusWorks team , you will join our client site in the semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.
This position focuses on ensuring the integrity and reliability of electrical systems through expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The role demands a hands-on approach to uphold specifications and compliance with all relevant codes, facilitating smooth and efficient system operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with facilities/operations teams to offer technical support for electrical systems within the operational and maintenance phases.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting in accordance with Master Specifications, Standard Installation Details (SID), and state and local electrical codes.
- Act as a key liaison with System Owners/Engineers and Technicians on operational issues affecting system quality and performance.
- Identify and assist in resolving electrical-related construction and maintenance issues.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and complete equipment sign-off processes, ensuring all systems meet rigorous standards.
- Engage in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and carry out audits for SIPP (Site Installation Preparation Procedure) and Pre-Task Plans, verifying compliance with client stringent requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate with client system owners, ensuring all preventive and corrective maintenance actions are properly executed.
- Address technical queries and respond to electrical systems maintenance and operations queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Respond to calendar request for equipment energizations.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician within an industrial or semiconductor manufacturing setting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical technician
- In-depth knowledge of relevant electrical codes and NFPA 70 E guidelines.
- Strong practical skills in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to work effectively with system owners, engineers, technicians and trades people
- Competence in conducting inspections, equipment signoffs, and adherence to operational protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on enhancing system reliability and performance.
- Effective communication skills, capable of coordinating with multiple teams and managing technical queries.
- Electrical Journeyman License is required.
- NFPA 70e preferred, but not required.
