Functional Responsibilities
Perform engineering analysis, assessments, investigations, engineering support, and evaluations for U.S. Navy AEGIS Weapon System (AWS), AEGIS Combat System (ACS) by providing Combat System Simulation Services that includes the Tactical Data Link, and wraparound simulation and stimulation of the ACS and determine if operating in accordance with associated specifications.

Description of Duties
  • Knowledge in engineering principles, testing engineering standards, performing analysis and reaching a pass/fail determination
  • Knowledgeable in identifying requirements and test methodologies to ensure modeling and simulation tools maintain those requirements
  • Experience troubleshooting and isolation of hardware and software issues and a basic knowledge of the digital communications discipline

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • US Military Veterans with experience with Phased Array Radar, Command & Control, Tactical Data Links, or other digital networks
  • Associates of Science or Bachelor of Science degree with 0 years direct work experience and Internships or studies that included either Modeling and Simulation or Information Technology or scientific data analysis or analysis of systems-of-systems

  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interface constructively with US Government and Industry teammates
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively in providing high quality services

Required Skills and Certifications:
  • DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance within 90 days of signing the contingent hire offer letter
  • As a condition of continued employment, you must maintain an active security clearance
