Jr. Java Developer

A leading telecommunications company is looking for a Jr. Java Developer to join their team in Maryland Heights, MO. This person will be supporting the client's internal customer supporting catalog. When a customer calls into the calling agents line, the agent goes through the catalog to review what services the customer is eligible for. This person will be writing and creating rules to support the catalog using Java, Groovy, and SQL. This person will be writing those rules based off of the designers requirements from the overall program. Ideally this candidate will have 0-3 years experience with SQL & Java, a self started, and ability to work in a fast paced environment. This team sits 5 days onsite, and potentially 1 day remote in the future.

Required Skills & Experience

0-3 years of Development Experience in Java or Groovy

MS Excel experience: capable of creating VLOOKUP's, macros, pivot tables, and basic formulas

Ability to read, write and create SQL queries

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Well-organized and ability to juggle multiple projects but also focus on the task at hand

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Telecommunications experience

Bachelor's Degree

Groovy Development Experience
