WHO ARE THE ERIE SEAWOLVES?
The Erie SeaWolves are the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and the 2023 Eastern League Champions. The team is owned and operated by At Bat Group, LLC. Over 300 SeaWolves have played Major League Baseball including Justin Verlander, Nick Castellanos, Eugenio Suarez, Curtis Granderson, and Riley Greene. Erie is located in northwest Pennsylvania, conveniently between Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. The SeaWolves play their home games at UPMC Park, just 10 blocks from Lake Erie. Since 2019, over $17 million in stadium upgrades have been introduced including a 1,550 sq. ft. team store, a 175-guest stadium club, two Daktronics LED video displays, and renovated suites, restrooms, concession stands, clubhouses, offices, and party spaces. The SeaWolves have earned several local and industry awards for promotional and operational excellence, including 2021 Minor League Baseball Promotion of the Year.

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The SeaWolves are accepting Junior Associate applications for Summer of Fall 2024. The Junior Associate program is a part-time, unpaid internship opportunity offering a learning experience in multiple areas of the business including sales, marketing, stadium operations, administration, community affairs, and merchandise. Junior Associates will have the opportunity to participate in training on topics ranging from ticket sales to guest service. All college majors are welcome. Applicants must be pursuing credit hours through their college or university.

HOURS
  • Junior Associates commit to a minimum of 150 hours during the internship period.
  • Exact hours to be determined. The team's standard office hours are Monday-Friday (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) Most home games start at 6:05 p.m.
  • Special events may require weekend and evening hours.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to/from ballpark and community events; mileage reimbursement may be available for community events.
  • Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in writing and public speaking. Junior Associates will be asked to professionally interact with fans, sponsors and staff.
  • Applicants must be pursuing credit hours through an accredited college or university.
