Silotech is recruiting for a Junior Network Technician to support timely on site corporate and commercial reach back for all technical sustainment operational assistance required to support AT&T deployed solutions.

This position is for consideration of a proposal contract.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate timely on-site corporate and commercial reach back for all technical, sustainment or operational assistance required to support AT&T deployed solutions. Work in concert with internal and external SMEs to design, test and deliver an end state prototype.
  • Assist with ordering and tracking delivery of circuit orders and participate in recurring status meetings and stakeholder discussions.
  • Perform user accounts management, standardize systems settings using automated deployment tools, and manage physical, virtual, and cloud-based server/client hardware.
  • Categorize, isolate, and resolve system problems. Perform fault recovery by validating, isolating, correcting faults, and verifying service restoral.
  • Provide technical direction or perform complex analyses. Provide design, implementation, testing services for complex engineering systems.
  • Possess substantive knowledge of analytical techniques, be skilled in collecting and manipulating data from various sources and be skilled in using structured analytical methods.
  • Work in concert with both the Cybersecurity Lead and Network Engineers to formulate and document security related activities. Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment according to standards, business rules, and needs.
  • Assist with hardware and software inventory verification activities. Apply network security policies to safeguard systems and information.
  • Ensure continuing systems operability by providing ongoing optimization and problem solving support. Assist with access to systems and equipment according to standards, business rules, and needs.

Qualifications:

Education
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience
  • 3+ years experience in a network engineering role

Certifications
  • COMPTIA Security +
  • COMPTIA A+
