Volt is immediately hiring for Junior Project Coordinator for a company located in Santa Ana, CA
As an Junior Project Coordinator you will:
Job Duties:
• Assist in developing strategic project plans aligned with organizational objectives, incorporating insights from business and finance perspectives.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to monitor project budgets, timelines, analyze financial data, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply sound business judgment and analytical skills to assess project risks, opportunities, and impacts on the organization's overall performance.
• Utilize your experience with company mergers to contribute to the planning and execution of M&A-related projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.
• Identify potential risks and issues that may affect project delivery or business outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
This is a temporary 9 month assignment.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Microsoft Excel, etc.) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices is advantageous.
• Previous experience in project management or coordination roles is desirable.
• Previous experience working with mergers or acquisitions is desirable.
• Previous experience working with budgeting and proposals is desirable.
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM OR Flexible 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Days: Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $25 to $40.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
