Responsibilities

  • The JM Admissions Coordinator handles all program inquiries, responding swiftly and professionally to prospective students about admissions, program details, and general information regarding the College of Law.
  • This role involves reviewing and processing applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and keeping applicants informed throughout the admissions process. The coordinator also maintains accurate applicant records in the institution's database and collaborates with financial aid and registrar departments for smooth student transitions. Additionally, the role includes managing residency declarations, overseeing transcript tracking with the graduate school, and maintaining admission tracking in the university system.
  • This position works with the Director and Assistant Dean to create and implement recruitment initiatives and strategies.
  • Assists students with Financial Aid process and communicates with the Office of Financial Aid. Facilitates student outreach in regard to financial aid outstanding requirements, student business services notices, and more.
  • Assists in planning and executing JM events, including prospective student information sessions, law campus tours, and graduation.
  • Represents the JM program at recruitment events such as college fairs and FSU Day at the Capitol.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
