Your Role

Mission

High Pressure is one of the focus areas within the Oil Free Air division and is contributing to the division's strive for more sustainable solutions and thereby contributing to create a better tomorrow. We consider natural gas infrastructure to be a key contributor in a transition to a cleaner energy distribution matrix, especially linked to biogas production and upgrading.

For this we are seeking a Regional Key Account Manager, specifically for High Pressure CNG/RNG. The role will support customers requiring high pressure piston compressors and boosters in the industrial gases segment - outside of the Air Separation, Nitrogen, specialty gases and PET market.

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Sales - Identify, Prospect, build, and maintain quality customer relationships to develop company's business in the High Pressure CNG/RNG compressor and booster market. Achieve and exceed assigned equipment sales targets by developing and implementing action plans to capture sales from the Key Accounts. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from coworker activity and as referred by telemarketing activity. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries. Introduce new products and service upgrades to Key Accounts. Study customer needs and coordinate with Service Sales Managers to fulfill those needs. Actively engage in planned prospecting activities geared at increasing the market share within the key accounts, Key Account Manager owns opportunity through Start Up.

Obtain, develop, or otherwise prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs. Prepare for and attend trade shows, exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities. Maintain customer base, quotations, and daily calendar.

Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms, and review terms and conditions.

Always maintain a professional image through personal actions and initiatives. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company's core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation. Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees relevant to this mission.

Personal Development - Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations. Utilize internal training resources and continually work towards personal growth. Collaborate with other sales engineers, key account managers and product managers.

Reporting - Maintain customer information, activities, quote data, won and lost order information, daily, in the company's Customer Relations Management (CRM) database. Prepare additional reports for management as assigned. Report on special developments, competitive information, or feedback gathered through field activity. These could include recommendations for product, service, pricing changes.

Experience

5+ years of relevant technical, industrial sales experience a must, preferably in the compressed air and gas industry with engineered high pressure piston compressors.

Education

Four-year degree in business, marketing, engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

Must be energetic, proactive and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Must have proven business analysis skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Travel required (up to 50%). Must have a valid driver's license.
