Our state-of-the-art Kitchens department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 40 different food products for approximately 800+ retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our soups, salads, sandwiches to our Pothole Pizzas. With our expansion we are now able to offer a variety of Take Home Meals and finished fruit and vegetable products, all prepared daily by our Kitchens team.

Join the Warehouse area of our Kitchens as aMaterial Handler where you will be trained to accurately select and load our Kitchens products to be shipped to our retail stores. You will also work to supply the lines with necessary ingredients, remove finished items primarily with hand jacks and power pallet jacks as well as maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area.

Work schedule: Wednesday through Saturday working 12:00pm to 10:00pm

Qualifications:

• Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
• Work well with others
• Possess basic math aptitude
• Read, understand and interpret numbers
• Cycle count ingredients on a schedule
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen areas
• Work in a fast paced environment ; work in a safety conscious environment
• Work up to 10+ hours.

Prior material handling or forklift experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical qualifications: lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches; lift/carry 40 pounds to 76 inches; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in varying -20 - 44 degree F temperatures.

Benefits:

• Starting rate of pay: $19.50 per hour
• Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
• A year end cash bonus - 40% of profits shared with our coworkers
