Program

  • Participate in resident conferences
  • Participate in annual DOM CME conference
  • Participate in residency applicant interviews per need


Commitment and dedication to education of resident physicians in all clinical areas

  • Maintain good relationships with all clinical educators
  • Participate in the many educational efforts of the GSM


Attending physician in psychiatry clinic

  • Academic committees as assigned by the PD or Chair
  • Attending physician on in-patient consults


Responsibilities for Resident Education

  • Teaching responsibility for IM residents
  • Teaching and evaluation in clinic


Research

  • Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations


Administrative

  • Attend departmental committee meetings


Basic Qualifications

  • MD, ABPN Certified
  • TN Medical License


Departmental Preferences

  • General outpatient psychiatry
  • Behavioral health
  • In-patient psychiatry consults
  • Substance use disorders (optional)
