Boston (Kenmore) - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4pm, hours are flexible)

Dedham - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays)

Medford - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 7:45am-4:15pm, possible weekends)

Somerville - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 7:45am-4:15pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays)

SUMMARY

With direct supervision, coordinates the daily support operations of the Lab Associate group. Serves as functional supervisor or team leader for other Lab Associates. Functions and performs all job tasks and patient testing as the Lab Associates.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit deemed equivalent after evaluation of the diploma by either Center for Educational Documentation (CED) or North American Education Group (NAEG) required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE

3 to 5 years' experience performing the duties of the Lab Associate is typically required.

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal skills needed with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals. Sound judgement with the ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Leadership potential. Knowledge of medical terminology and certification for CPR preferred.
