Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB :

To assist in the operation of the Laboratory sections.

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

20% 1. Responsible for overseeing the daily work done by the associates in the section utilizing managerial skills to effectively direct others.

20% 2. Maintains efficient operation of the section. Insures accuracy of testing.

5% 3. Promotes teamwork. Creates a cohesive productive environment.

5% 4. Provides continuity of service under the guidance of Laboratory Management

50% 5. Performs laboratory procedures as required. (See Medical Tech/MT/MLT/CYTO/HISTO job

Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education: State necessary CLIA requirements, i.e., Medical Technologist, MLT or equivalent

• Experience: 3-5 years in one or more clinical areas
