Lab Tech Generalist

One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Lab Tech Generalist to join their team. This person will be working within all 3 branches of the lab: Hematology, Blood Bank & Chemistry. Day-to-day will involve basic Lab Tech duties including, but not limited to specimen processing & testing, quality control, blood bank testing and data collection and management. When this person initially joins, they will be trained during day shift hours and eventually converted to the night shift schedule. Shift details are as follows:

Evening: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Night: 11 PM - 7:30 AM

*full 40 hrs/per week
*Emergency coverage policy: will cover 4 hours before or after their shift if there is an emergency call-out
*OT when this does happen

Required Skills & Experience
- Clinical Lab experience specifically within Hematology, Blood Bank, and Chemistry
- familiarity with some or most of the following instruments/tools: Beckman Coulter DxC, DxI, Access Medical Labs, DxH, Iris
- Experience/familiarity with Stago Company Max & Cephied
- In-depth knowledge of Laboratory protocols and tools/language

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- ASCP certification
