Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lab Technician for a contract opportunity in Bend, OR.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

SUMMARY:
The lab technician will provide support for scientists in a fast-paced and dynamic R&D and GMP laboratory areas. Your contributions will aid in advancing therapies for patients in need.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Clean laboratory glassware, dispose waste, and maintain an orderly laboratory.
o Prepare various solutions including dissolution media, diluents, and mobile phases.
o Support inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
o Issue and review laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation.
o Support stability set downs, pulls, and disposals.
o Perform verifications on basic analytical equipment (balances, pipettes, pH meter).
o Follows Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:
o No experience required; laboratory experience preferred.
o Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
o Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
o Typically requires standing and walking for a shift.
o Occasionally requires lifting of up to 20 pounds.
o Requires manual dexterity and visual abilities.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Fri, OT possible
