Lab Technician-Mechanical

Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Mechanical Lab Technician, for a 12+ month contract for a 100% onsite role in Maplewood MN. In this role you will configuring, operating, and maintaining nonwovens process equipment. Your experience with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills will be key in this role.

Job Title: Lab Technician-Mechanical

Location: Maplewood MN 100% onsite

Pay Range: $19 to $22 per hour depending upon experience

What's the Job?

• Configuring, operating, and maintaining nonwovens process equipment
• Measuring the properties of and characterizing nonwoven materials
• Detailed record keeping and communication of technical work and results
• Following and developing standard operating procedures
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Material handling, including lifting pails, moving pallets, and completing other duties as assigned

What's Needed?

• One year experience in a lab setting and who is mechanically inclined.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.
