JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

The Clinical Lab Supervisor oversees lab operations after routine hours including personnel, scheduling, technical and workflow functions. Act as the liaison between laboratory managers / administrator / director and other hospital staff. Communicate all problems to the specific lab managers and lab administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists
• Demonstrates proficiency in the performance of routine and complex laboratory testing and instrumentation; familiar with general laboratory and hospital policies
• Must be highly flexible and adaptable to handle various situations
• Demonstrates strong organizational and interpersonal skills with customer service focus
• Supports the goals of the Hospital and Department
• At least one (1) year acceptable experience in a hospital laboratory
