Summary:
AS A LABORATORY INFORMATION SYSTEM ANALYST, YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE ANALYSIS, DESIGN, CONFIGURATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE LABORATORY INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND INTEGRATIONS THROUGHOUT THE HEALTH SYSTEM. RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING LAB WORKFLOW, EDUCATION OF STAFF ON THE LIS, REPORTING FOR LAB, TESTING AND VALIDATION. PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS NEEDED AND APPROPRIATE.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-AD in medical technology required; Bachelors degree in medical technology or related preferred.
-Five years as medical technologist required. One year LIS experience preferred.
-Registered with ASCP or AMT required at hire. Good reasoning and communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
