Job Description
The Laboratory Transition Coordinator will assist incoming Principal Investigators in understanding EHS systems and expectations with respect to laboratory safety; assist existing PIs and lab managers in completing chemical inventories for chemical redistribution or disposal; oversee transfer and disposal of chemicals from laboratories; assist outgoing PIs with properly cleaning out their assigned laboratory space; and provide other EHS services as assigned.
Shift
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Two years experience performing EHS related duties. Education and experience can be substituted. Laboratory operations experience preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $21.28-$30.29 Hourly
