POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include supervision of the Ammunition support Group, Precision Fires Rocket Missile System Group, Warheads Group, Small Arms, THAAD, off range support at FT. Wingate, Gallup New Mexico (LC-96 and LC-94), and Building 335 personnel within the Launch Support Section. Responsible for making work assignments as requested through WAO, Work Order or Job Requests. Responsible for initiating or reviewing and approving Purchase Requests initiated in support of assigned work; tracking and monitoring work accomplished on a daily basis, and adjusting work assignments as required to accommodate changing customer priorities and mission support requirements. Coordinates work assignments with customers and other Southwest Range Services Departments located at White Sands Missile Range and Holloman Air Force Base to ensure work is completed within required schedules and budgets. Responsible for assuring facility and workforce compliance with safety, security, environmental laws, regulations, and company policies. Responsible for coordination and usage of GSA vehicles.
Provide support for the ASP daily activities by coordinating with Government POC to ensure all requirements are met. May be required to be listed as a secondary POC for Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at the ASP bunker site.
Working knowledge of contract operations and support requirements as well as required reports and administrative functions to include purchasing, supply, timekeeping, overtime disparity, GSA vehicle usage, Training Certifications, etc

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a graduate of a two-year technical program at an accredited institution with a minimum of three years applicable experience or a total of six years progressive applicable experience in the specific field. In either case, a minimum of two years of the experience must have been in a supervisory role. Must possess a valid driver's license. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION: Working knowledge of ammunition and explosives certification as per IAW ATEC 385-1 chapter 14, Level II.
