Laundry | Attendant/Driver ($25.20/hour to $26.25/hour)

Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Laundry Team as a Laundry Attendant/Driver at the Grand Hyatt Seattle!

The Laundry Attendant/Truck Driver is responsible for processing hotel and guest laundry as well as driving to other areas to pick up and/or drop off laundry. This person must have good communication skills, a valid driver's license and the ability to push and pull heavy loads. This is a fast paced position. When processing hotel and guest laundry, this position presses, sorts and folds laundry. Commercial pressing and folding equipment is used and attendants are responsible for programming and logging their operations. Additional duties may include ironing sheets, pillow cases, table cloths, folding towels, sorting soiled linen, loading dryers and distributing linen to various storage areas within the hotel.

The hourly rate range for this position is $25.20 to $26.78. The starting rate for this position is $25.20/hour when working as a Laundry Attendant, and $26.25/hour when working as a driver. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the Laundry Attendant role for four years or more, which is $25.70/hour. For those individuals who have worked in Driver capacity for four years or more, they currently earn $26.78/hour.
