The Lead Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) is an integral member of the healthcare team, qualified through academic and clinical education to provide patient care services under the supervision of staff physicians. This role encompasses both clinical and administrative responsibilities within the clinic. The Lead APP will oversee clinical operations, ensure adherence to best practices, and manage administrative duties. Additionally, the Lead APP will play a pivotal role in the planning and training of new PAs/NPs. All responsibilities are subject to approval by the Medical Staff Board. Reporting to the Director of APPs, the Lead APP is accountable to the supervising physician and the department.

Education
Bachelors Degree : Nursing or Healthcare related field (Required)
Masters Degree: Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and Science in Nursing (Required)
Doctorate Degree: DNP (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
2 Years experience in a clinical specialty as a CRNP or PA (Required)
General Experience with Epic (Required)
2 Years experience in healthcare leadership (Preferred)

License/Certifications
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
NCCPA - Certified Physician Assistant (Required) or CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
