Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Analyst for one of our largest clients in Downtown Cleveland. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the assessment, design, and monitoring of an enterprise data repository, being tasked with understanding key business imperatives and translating them into data requirements. They will be responsible for analyzing existing systems, identifying changes that need to be made, and working with data engineers to achieve those changes.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
12+ years of total IT experience, 8+ years of experience with Analytics tools, construction and maintenance.
Experience with data warehousing and data constructs.
Heavy SQL experience will need to know how to write in and read SQL.
Ability to understand Linux scripting.
Understanding of version control (client uses Github).
Strong experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel (Vlookups), Word, PowerPoint, etc.
o Will need to know how to make drawings portraying how data is flowing from point A to point B.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Microstrategy, etc.
Exposure to Data Governance techniques.
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with Oracle ERP
Development Background
