Insight Global is hiring for a Data Engineer to join one of our large loan institution and credit solution clients. This will be a 6 month contract sitting remote and working EST hours. This individual will be working on an email marketing campaign. You will define and establish data models and supporting the tools and methods of populating data into transactional databases and data warehouses. This individual will provide operational support and incident/problem management including logging, instrumentation, analysis, and implementation of process improvements. You will collaborate with the business to oversee the visualization of data and report generation to meet various needs. You will coordinate with other IT teams to configure and implement security, monitoring, tooling, and related capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience in data engineering role

* Proven experience with Airflow and DBT (using to transforming and managing data in data warehouses)

* Proficiency in programming language, Python

* Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases and data warehousing solutions.

* Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Snowflake

* Expertise in designing and optimizing ETL process and data workflows

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience in data migrations

* SEO data modernization

* Marketing, tracking and configurations and User Interface
