As a member of the ESG Strategy and Reporting team within the Finance organization, the Lead ESG Analyst is a key contributor in the evolution and execution of that strategy.

Reporting to and partnering with the Director, ESG Strategy & Reporting, this newly-created position requires a professional who is knowledgeable about a broad range of ESG topics and capable of driving various initiatives within an organization, focused on two key areas: the communication of Intuit's ESG plans, programs and progress; and, the design and deployment of new approaches to collecting data and disclosures.

This role will be instrumental in the execution of various ESG communication initiatives, including our annual Report and responses to surveys from ESG raters and rankers. You will collaborate with a cross functional team to curate and amplify our programs and progress in these and other critical internal and external communications channels. In addition, this position will design and implement processes and internal controls to acquire and consolidate precise ESG data and performance metrics from various contributors across the organization in compliance with external assurance expectations and in preparation for evolving regulatory reporting standards.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator, with experience engaging various corporate functions and diverse stakeholders; a strategic thinker, highly organized and efficient with strong project management skills and have a zest for tracking changing regulations, trends and best-practices in this evolving field. As a courageous individual contributor, you are collaborative and able to work with, educate and influence stakeholders; you will foster relationships across the organization and liaise with leaders and subject experts responsible for ESG policies, strategy, and programs.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and help execute a multi-year plan for building a best-in-class ESG strategy and reporting function at the company.
  • Project manage and drive Intuit's annual Corporate Responsibility report in close collaboration with Communications, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, People & Places DEI team, Sustainability, Investor Relations, Audit and Legal.
  • Facilitate the ESG data / disclosure strategy and processes. You will co-create and implement processes and internal controls to ensure proper data collection and governance; continuously assess and enhance the relevance, volume and quality of our disclosures; co-create and deliver training to numerous stakeholders; consolidate and analyze business unit data for company-wide ESG reporting.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and respond to various requests for information from investors and other stakeholders regarding our ESG performance.
  • Contribute to Intuit's engagement with third-party ESG rating agencies, such as ISS, S&P CSA and MSCI among others, including the prioritization of rating entities and regularly monitoring our performance as measured by them.
  • Project manage internal committees and working groups that focus on specific ESG matters, encouraging the continuous improvement of their approach, impact and outcomes. Align Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and teams towards a clearer vision of what ESG means and should mean for the company in the future.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes (US SEC, California, CSRD, and/or ISSB) and industry trends related to ESG reporting, including mandatory reporting, communicate information to relevant stakeholders, and integrate new requirements into reporting processes, in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and other functions.
  • Conduct research on industry best practices related to ESG reporting and continually benchmark against other companies' reporting practices and integrate new findings into reporting processes.
  • Be highly involved in the development and delivery of ESG collateral for diverse audiences (i.e.: executive engagement, board meetings, investor presentations, etc.).
