Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Specialist Team Lead, Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS). The Specialist Team Lead, Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) serves as a subject-matter expert and provides support to the HRSS Specialist within the HRSS team. The Team Lead will provide direction, training, and support to staff as well as implement guidance and procedures from their respective Manager and Director. Role will support the functions of leave management, onboarding, payroll and (or) lifecycle (J-List). The team lead will service both internal and external partners through a variety of channels including phone, Service Now, and email.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Act as subject matter expert in their specific role (Leave management, onboarding, payroll, or Lifecycle).
  • Facilitate actions and provide direction for system users by working administratively in the Human Resources Management System and other systems as required by the respective team.
  • Perform services with accuracy and proficiency.
  • Trains newly hired employees to perform the functions of specialist.
  • Regularly meets with team to review all new guidance and provide any updated training as needed.
  • Handles inquiries from internal and external partners with timely follow up and feedback.
  • Offers suggestions or other direction when roadblocks occur.
  • Works with direct manager when there is an employee concern for performance or behavior.
  • Assists with special projects to support HRSS and facilities.
  • Maintain knowledge and current updates of Human Resources principles, practice and related regulatory environment.


Qualifications

Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience: 2+ years of experience
