The ideal candidate will assist in development of forms, workflows, transferring of business requirements into application logic within the scope of the product. The candidate must have good programming skills and be a creative thinker -- able to devise system and programming alternative approaches.

Additional desired skills in website development and portal development is a plus. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently is essential. Position is for an individual who is a self-starter, who can take the initiative, think creatively, and problem solve. Ability to expedite and deliver on assigned tasks in a timely manner is required. Coding, debugging, designing and highly accurate documentation skills are also required.

This position includes performing "business as usual" tasks for daily operations, new initiative work, upgrades, maintenance, applying vendor patching and updates within the products supported. The candidate will be asked to work within a diverse and dynamic environment, adhering to operational and change management processes in a timely and effective manner without disruption to the flow of deliverable output to supported business areas.

The individual will support IAM daily operations team as well as develop new functionality. Experience with any of the following disciplines is a plus: RSA VIA L&G, or any similar industry IAM applications. Candidate must be skilled in Linux/Unix command line, SQL, JavaScript and Java coding.

Required Skills & Experience

* Ability to learn and apply new technologies while working in partnership with other areas to capture and collaborate on business system requirements.

* Must be able to work within a team context as well as independently

* Programming experience with JavaScript or Java - including JSP programming

* Experience with databases and writing SQL code

* Familiarity with configuration of complex application server systems. (e.g.,Tomcat , WildFly, JBOSS or WebSphere) or developing applications for them

* Demonstrated experiences in managing multiple priorities.

* Good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with enterprise business tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Office 365

* BS in Computer Science or IT degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Programming of web based applications, knowledge of how web services work and how to use them (Ex: REST APIs, JSON, etc.)

* Use of DBMS tools such as Squirrel or DBVisualizer

* Usability engineering and experience with GUI design

* Website / Portal development

* Familiarity with enterprise scale RDBMS (Oracle) and writing complex SQL.

* Knowledge of file i/o handling, understanding of OS command line for Unix/Linux

* Proven user experiences in developing ad-hoc scripting using languages such as PowerShell, ksh etc.

* Understanding of OS (operating system) services, registry settings, and group / local / global policy for Unix, Linux and Windows server operating systems.

* Experience with ServiceNow
