We are seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Engineer with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Additionally experience in the Payer domain is mandatory. This role involves leading software development projects ensuring high-quality code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of software applications using AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL.

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Ensure the scalability performance and security of applications by implementing best practices and conducting regular code reviews.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications user manuals and release notes.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively suggest improvements to existing systems and processes.

• Manage project timelines deliverables and resources to ensure successful project completion within budget and schedule.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on project status risks and mitigation strategies.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and methodologies.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Payer domain.

• Contribute to the company's purpose by developing software solutions that positively impact society and improve user experiences.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

• Demonstrate extensive experience in AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL.

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

The annual salary for this position is between $102,600 - $162,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
